At the end of this class you’ll be able to confidently prepare any packaging files for print!
You've just finalised your latest packaging design project but you're not 100% sure how to successfully prepare it for print, or you are confident in your process but always wonder how to add that extra touch to your packagings by using special finishes, printing techniques and materials.
If any of these sound familiar, this class is for you!
What we’ll cover:
→ Colour setup & printing techniques, to make sure you’re always using the correct colour spaces and know all of your options
→ Creation of an “artwork” workspace which will come in handy every time you’ll need to prepare a new packaging for print
→ Preparing our files with the correct layers, spot colours and special finishes
→ Add an artwork legend and export for print

Class project
We will go through two different packaging designs which we will prepare for print.
The first packaging design that we will prepare for print will be a very simple nail polish label and the second packaging design that we will prepare for print is a more complex packaging with multiple elements and using a special holographic finish.
